Last night we cohosted our Breast Cancer Benefit with Women's Wine & Dine- it was a smashing success! I wanted to post pics of some of our amazing goodies before I head back to the spa for cleanup. Weren't my shoes the perfect touch?
Girleens, as you know moi is not a domestic goddess. I ordered a bra cookie cutter for the event. My normal cookie girl was unavailable due to the flu. So I had to decorate them. I'm fully aware they look like a 6 year old created them. My skill pertains to make-up, not icing...they were cute anyway!
Bon Bons from the Decadent Debutante are my absolute favorite! Seriously I dream about them. People have one bite & are hooked forever! We were so thankful that they were a sponsor & generously donated their treats for our event. Of course all flavors were housed in various shades of pink!
These cupcakes from the adorable & talented Travis of Crazy Delicious were a huge hit, as well. The icing was so light & buttery, not at all heavy. When a few got damaged in transport, the beauty team went after them like wild animals!
These caramel apples were the bain of my existence! When I envisioned them in my head, I had no idea what a pain they'd be to make. Very uncooperative, but still super yummy! The boutique was a vision in pink to say the least! Everyone had a great time for a great cause. Stay tuned next week for behind the scenes pictures! Alright my beauties, the spa beckons- so off I must go! Have a great day! What are you guys going to be for Halloween?
Peace. Love. Lipgloss. M

Oh, the cupcakes looks divine! Caramel apples are really hard to make especially for the first time. I freeze the apple for 15-20 min before dipping in caramel. Also, looks like your caramel might be too drippy, a little less cream in it would make it to the right consistency level of stickiness!
