About Me

My photo
This make-up artist and esthetician has a (bordering on unhealthy) addiction to all things beauty! No amount of eyeshadows or cream liners will ever be enough! I go giddy for all things girly. Lipgloss might not be able to heal the world, but it can lift a gal's spirits!

Bronze Beauty Make-up Series

I warned you that the site Make-up 411 could result in an addiction! I speak from experience. These are the 2 Make-up Forever products I purchased, that are reportedly used daily to give Jennifer Love Hewitt her gorgeous glow. Star Powder in Bronze Brown 930 (L) & Diamond Shadow in Diamond Brown 312 (R). I love the Star Powder, though with loose pigments- there's more mess. The Diamond Shadow oddly pulled a little purple on my skintone, though the texture was great. I completed my purchase with a new color option of a personal favorite- Laura Geller's Baked Cake Liner Duo in Plum Pudding/Black Forrest. Used wet or dry, I always transition clients away from pencil with this product - it's so easy to use, doesn't pull on the delicate eye area and gives a smooth line. All items available at Sephora. I should have a house account there. They also should have the equivalent of black American Express in a Sephora credit card version- forget miles, I want to redeem in gloss!
Peace. Love. Lipgloss. M

I actually have a make-up question. I am clueless...you know how you are supposed to put a little highlighter type eyeshadow (or something like that) in the inside corner of your eye?
Well, I have been using a white shimmery eyeshadow to do the trick. Is there another product you reccomend? And where else are you supposed to highlight besides the inside eye???
I hope that makes sense. I am make-up challenged. Thanks!

Eyeshadow is fine! You can also check out higlighting pencils & products from both Benefit & Mally that are super easy. Just put it on areas you want to bring out- inner eye, brow bone, high on the cheek to brighten & lift, & above the lip to give the illusion of fuller lips. Hope this helps!
