Tonight I went with Movie Girl to see the much anticipated Confessions of a Shopaholic. Isla Fisher was adorable & the movie was cute- but nothing to write home about. What was over the top? The fashions of course- would one expect anything less from Patricia Fields?

Though there were pieces here and there in S&TC that sparked a craze- let's face it most only Carrie Bradshaw could pull off!
Patricia now is costume designer on the hysterical series Ugly Betty with one of my all time favorite characters- Amanda. We all need to be reminded every now & then that fashion should be fun. That it can be a way of reinvigorating one's self- so go forward & be bold!Peace. Love. Fashion. M
