About Me

My photo
This make-up artist and esthetician has a (bordering on unhealthy) addiction to all things beauty! No amount of eyeshadows or cream liners will ever be enough! I go giddy for all things girly. Lipgloss might not be able to heal the world, but it can lift a gal's spirits!

A Look Inside

My desperate attempts to find a substitute for my beloved discontinued CoverGirl Multiplying Mascara continue. There it is at the bottom- I am scraping every last drop out of the tube... This is not even all of the mascaras I've tried recently in my quest. *Sigh* I am pulling a serious Goldilocks tantrum here girls! Nothing is making me 100% happy. I am not a fan of waterproof mascaras, but everything is still smudging on my oily skin(yes even with all my make-up artist tricks). Help a gal out & tell me what your favorite is, before I end up in the poor house!
Peace. Love. Mascara. M

I am on an endless search for the perfect mascara; right now I'm loving Telescopic Mascara by L'Oreal but it is useless for my lower lashes so I use Maybelline Lash Stiletto for those or my old safeguard, Boots No.7. I'm not sure if you can get that where you are....?

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog the other day, it is lovely to meet you. xx

I really love Laura Mercier's mascara. They have a new out that I am itching to try.

I have a question for you though..do you have any moiusterizers you recommend for this time of year? My face is dry and I can't seem to find one I love..

Thanks!

Have you tried my absolute favorite
More Than Mascara by Estee Lauder? I LOVE the Navy and the Brown Black. I avoid solid black whenever possible since it casts a darker shadow under my eyes. I ask you, who needs more attention under the eyes anyway???

My faves right now are the Flawless Definition by BE and either one of Fresh's mascaras- either the Supernatural or Supernova or Firebird or whatever they are called. The BE Flawless is amazing.

Oh Girleens- you rock! I guess I'm headed to the poor house, since I'm adding BE Flawless Def, L'Oreals' Telescopic, Laura Mercier's & Estee Lauders to my shopping cart! Those are the ones I haven't tried!

my favorite mascara was maybelline lash stylist-b/c of the tiny comb instead of a brush-any suggestions of a mascara with a comb rather than a brush?

I HATED lash stiletto. The shine was just too weird.

OMG just when I thought there was NO one as obsessed with makeup (esp. LIP GLOSS) as I am! Then I found you! HAHA
I'm on the constant QUEST for the Perfect Lashes - I get great results by - 1) ALWAYS using eyelash curler by Shu Uemura, 2) Lash Primer by Estee Lauder (base coat which helps the mascara bind), and 3) Magnascopic mascara by Estee Lauder. I've tried it all - DIOR, YSL, Clinique, Benefit, Bare Escentuals, Cover Girl, Maybelline, Great Lash, you name it. This combo just works for me! :-)
