We carry an amazing line of hats at the boutique during the summer from a company called Walleroo. They are ingeniously made from fabric that has a built in SPF factor of 50! We also offer skincare treatments at the spa that feature another amazing technology by the way of FDA approved Revitalight. The device uses different color Light Emitting Diodes that fight the signs of aging and heal acne. Now a Toronto based company called SunSoul is manufacturing shirts with Fluorescent Therapeutic Materials, a first-of-its kind fabric that not only boasts excellent UV protection, but also selectively enhances the sun's healthy bands to benefit your skin. What does this mean for those who have suffered from stubborn"bacne" ? Well when wearing SunSoul's blumöd shirt , the material transforms broad-spectrum light(sunlight) into a narrow wavelength of blue light, which improves the appearance of blemished skin by killing acne-causing bacteria. Your shirt could be clearing up chest or back breakouts while out riding your bike or taking a hike! The blumöd shirts are made to be worn in the sun for at least two hours each week, as the results increase with the amount of sun exposure. I can't wait to hear if it really works!
